Merry Christmas 2016

We celebrated this year Christmas with our family and grandparents from Jakarta
We attended morning mass as family then we headed to lunch to Ichiban Sushi
After that we opened the presents under Christmas Tree

Happy 14 Months Old

Weight : 9.5 kg

Development Milestone :
- Can walk eventhough crawling still the fastest means to move from one place to another place
- Can express his dislike when he was disciplined
- Loves playing kiddy ride
- Can eat half adult portion
- Love sour fruits
- Can point to something when he wants it

Officially Walk (30 November 2016)

Yesterday, he made surprise to us.
He can walk few steps perhaps 2m long back and forth.
We were so excited to watch he achieved his milestone

Breastfeed weaning at 13 mos

Phew...finally Ted has been weaned off from breastfeed.
It's smooth weaning process.
On the first night, he slept with papa and he can sleep soundly with just patting at his back and papa can sleep well too.

The next night, it's another smooth sailing...
And now he can sleep by himself without breast pacifier

Baby Led Weaning (13 mos)

Past few days I have a hard time feeding him because he eats very slow and has short attention span therefore I tried giving him aglio olio pasta for him to do self feeding.

At first, he's very excited and eats the pasta by himself but after half of it, he has no more patience and starts throwing pasta down 

Luckily, this few days I found a trick

Barney nursery songs from youtube and some toys on the high chair tray to distract him and he can finish the bowl of meal in half an hour :)

Peg and Hammer

This is another hands - eyes coordination stimulation practice.

Eventhough he still didn't get it right, but he knows what he needs to do with peg and hammer

Standalone

Eventhough he has been cruising for a while, he has no courage to try few steps.
Instead he loves to practice stand alone.

stacking donut ring (1 yo)

This is another exercise for him, we use donut ring this time round
Started with one donut ring then we add another donut ring.
It seems an easy job but it's challenging job for him

This activity is to stimulate hand - eye coordination, fine motoric skills, concentration and perseverance

For older toddlers, they can start sorting it from big to small donut rings

Stacking cups

This is first fun activity that we did after he's turning one year old

Stacking Cups 

• Start with 2 - 3 small cups
• Teach him how to stack the cups from the bigger as based to smaller cup on top of it
• Ask him to copy
• Repeat the process

Stimulating

• Hand eye coordination
• Fine motoric skills
• concentration

1 year old

We had a regular development assessment and MMRV and Pneumonia jab

Head Circumference : 45.5cm

Milestone :
- Can stand up without support
- Can wave bye2, kiss bye, tongue out and copy the sounds
- like to play together with his siblings
- drink fresh milk 150cc / day and still breastfeeding

Oma Happy 60th Birthday

One year ago, we celebrated oma happy's birthday with newborn Ted and now we celebrated it again with one year old Ted

Birthday Celebration Dinner

On his actual birthday, we had simple dinner with our family at Ivins Restaurant

First Birthday Party

We celebrated his first birthday one day earlier from his actual birthday to accomodate every one especially his grandaunt and granduncle from Jakarta

We invited our close friends and their children. We had fun games for children and everybody enjoyed it

Happy 1st Birthday Ted !

First Birthday Preparation

For his birthday theme, we chose little dino hatched theme
The color code is Green and Yellow

We use this theme because of his name is just perfect with additional saurus behind and it's kinda cute
We use simple banner and balloon helium for the backdrop decoration

The birthday cake is from Brigitte Cake and it's cute little dino just hatched on the tree trunk
We also ordered Nasi Tumpeng Dino from Tumpeng n' Such

For goodie bag, instead of just normal sweet and candies, I customized the activity book and order personalized folder from Syerra Cotton

First hair cut at salloon

Few days before his birthday, he's having new hair cut at EC house
To our surprise, he's very calm during hair cutting and enjoy the process
