It's been a great year 2023 after all despite all ups and downs, however we are pleased to celebrate our wins in 2023 with this last meal at Hai Di Lao with our close family.

Happy New Year 2023 !
12 o'clock midnight the fire works were dancing in the sky mark the new year.
We spent the New Year at home.
In the morning, we had New Year mass together in the church.
The homily from Fr Antony stroke me most. His message was a strength for me. It's the feast of Mary Mother of God.
He told us that why the church celebrate Mary, Mother of God in the beginning of the year, it's because we need Mother Mary's intercession to pray for us so that we could gain strength and wisdom from God and able to journey this unknown year.
There are two things that we could learn from Mother Mary.
1. Pray faithfully - Rosary prayer
Prayer is a source of strength, wisdom and peace. By praying, it shows that we are humble enough to let God in charge in our life.
2. Stay in the foot of the cross
Mother Mary was not the one hung in the cross because she's not God, but her obedient to stay with Jesus in the food of the cross shows her faithfulness.
"Be done to me according to God's will and not my will"
After that we had family lunch at Din Tai Fung

Welcoming New Year 2022 !
We stayed late and attended Holy Cross Zoom party while papa is in the church for the task.
On the first day of New Year, we attend mass as it's the Solemnity of Mother Mary and we ask God's grace and blessing and Mother Mary's intercession to start a new year.
After that we had first lunch as family at our favourite chicken rice.
Au Revoir 2021 !
These are our last meals together to end year 2021. We had zhi zar at Punggol settlement after our evening cycling.
And dimsum dinner at home to end year 2021.

A year of gratitude 2021
This year is a special year for us as a family. It's been a roller coaster year but we are grateful because by God's grace, love and providence we managed to pull through and ended the year with victory.
Our marriage relationship was tested and purified in the deeper level that we can't imagine and we grow deeper in love and trust to each other.
Our family faith was also tested and challenged when our oldest son having PSLE and our youngest son had covid at the same time.
We were grateful for our friends who are with us, doing crazy things together, laughter and joy, and even when we were in the darkest moments. It's a home far from home but we still feel that many people care for us.
It's been a fruitful journey and we are truly grateful for that.
Here's some preview of this year that we always remember in our heart.

New Year Eve Quarantined (31 Dec 2020)
This year is really special, we celebrate Christmas and New Year eve with our family in Singapore only.
We are hosting thanksgiving lunch inviting our close family and relatives at our home sweet home.
We cooked western food, pizza, macaroni schotel, tropical salad, calamari rings and bought baked chicken. Everyone is happy and delighted.
Hopefully next year will bring more hope, joy, peace, love, prosperity and good health.

We had our first lunch at Saizeriya then had dinner with grandparents at Ichiban Boshi
New Year Eve Dinner ( 31 Dec 2018 )
As we were ending year 2018, we decided to spend quality time with our family together.
Ted, the brothers and papa went out for soccer play at West Coast Park in the morning while mama cleaning up the house.
Then after lunch, we headed to Sentosa where oma Tine and opa Bambang stayed and had afternoon nap there.
In the evening,we had New Year Eve dinner at Singapore Seafood Republic.
It's very scrumptious meals and everybody enjoyed it.
We didn't stay for fireworks because the kids needed to sleep early. Thus we left there about 10pm and all turned in.
