First and One Time Life Experience - Papal Mass

Last Thursday, September 12, 2024, was a truly memorable day for our family.

By God's grace, we had the incredible privilege of attending the Papal Mass. Papa and koko Richie even had the honor of serving during the Mass—papa as a Communion Minister and kook Richie as an Altar Server.

Being just a few meters away from the Pope, especially witnessing him bless the little children and people with disabilities, was an emotional experience for me. I couldn't hold back my tears.

I felt the profound, unconditional love of God and witnessed the essence of what humanity truly needs.

Attending the Papal Mass felt like a glimpse of Heaven, with God on His throne, surrounded by Angels and Saints, while the rest of us worshipped Him. In that moment, there was no judgment based on race or worldly success; we were all equal in God's eyes.

Though we couldn't choose our seats, we embraced our place with deep gratitude.

Much like in Jesus' time, people came for various reasons—to see the Pope up close, some for selfies to share on social media, others to experience God's love more intimately. Only God truly knows each person's heart.

For my family and me, while we did hope to capture a close-up picture with the Pope as a keepsake, the real gift was the love and joy we experienced there.

One key message that we will always remember is:

"Without love, all are nothing."

Duet song Ted And Papa

Ted knew this song from the beginning till the end and it's one of his favorite worship song.

Come Holy Spirit

Come Holy Spirit, fall on me now
I need your anointing, come in Your power
I love You Holy Spirit
You captivated my soul
and everyday I grow to love You more
Chorus
I'm reaching for Your heart
You hold my life in Your hand
Drawing me closer to You
I feel Your power renewed
Nothing compares to this place
Where I can see You face to face
I worship You in spirit and in truth

Lord's Prayer (3.5yo)

Recently, Ted loves to pray Our Father.
We noticed it during Easter Tridium when we brought him to church and he saw Our Father's prayer in the church booklet.
From then on, when he's in the church, he's looking forward to sing Our Father after Great Amen.

Family Praise and Worship and Rosary prayer

We had this family praise and worship every day where papa will lead the PW with one or two songs and we will sing together. Then papa will read two bible readings, one is from old testament and the other one is from gospel reading.
After that, papa will explain shortly about the reading.

Followed with prayers which starting with papa pray for each of us, then koko Richie lead the prayers with the brothers to pray for papa and mama and mama will pray for papa too.

Recently, koko Richie has a heart - desire to pray for Rosary and because of time constraint, we usually doesn't have time for rosary but yesterday we made commitment to pray rosary as family.
And Ted also has desire to copy what koko Richie said in the prayer.

Hopefully, this will be the legacy to Ted and his descendants to keep family prayer as a powerful weapon in family.

Pray for Papa

Dear St Joseph,

Help my father to be a good father
Give him pride in his work and a little more time to have fun
Help him when he's tired, he's worried and when he's in a hurry
Help me to always show my father how much I love him

Pray for mama

Dear Blessed Mother Mary,

Help my mom to be a good mom.
Give her peace, joy, health and happiness
Be nearby when she needs help
Help me to always show my mom how much I love her

Daily Family Prayer

Every night we have this daily Family Prayer led by daddy.
First, daddy will have a praise and worship song then follow with bible reading and explanation.
After that we had thanksgiving prayer and prayer intercession.

Eventhough Ted is not able to sit still and pray but he listens and sometimes he sings.
This is a good start for him so he can have this legacy when he has his own family in the future
