Family trip to Holyland Day 5 - Egypt to Israel bus ride ( 1 June 2023)

We traveled from Dahab to Taba border and enter Israel. After that we travelled along the Dead Sea from South Israel to Judea. We passed by what's known as Lot's wife as it's sculpted naturally by the rocks and salt and next to the Dead Sea.

We had a quick lunch at Korean Restaurant just before Egypt border. Then after crossing Israel border, we stopped by at Yovatha to eat gelato. It's so good to eat it in the hot desert.

Family trip to Holyland Day 4 - Egypt St Catherine and Mt Sinai (31 May 2023)

We stayed at Safir resort for 2 nights before and after going to St Catherine and Mount Sinai.

In the morning, we went to St Catherine Monastery to see the venerated burning bushes, Jethro well where Moses met his wife and the rock which has burning bushes painting.

After having lunch, we were ready to climb Mt Sinai.

For the first stage, we took 1.5 hours camel ride to the first pit stop. It's enjoyable ride, the weather was warm and breezy.

After arriving to the first pit stop, we climbed 750 stairs to the summit. It took us around 1.5 hours to reach the summit. 

We were so proud to our kids and my parents who were able to reach the summit even though it's slower than expected.

After taking some nice pictures and enjoying the view, we climbed down back to the base camp and it took 3 hours.

We were tired physically but felt happy and accomplished for what we had done.

Family trip to Holyland Day 3 - Egypt Pyramid and Spinx (30 May 2023)

We stayed at Grand Hyatt Regency for one night before continuing our journey to Mt Sinai. We stopped over to see one of the seven wonder ancient worlds which was Pyramid and Spinx.

After that we passed by Suez Canal and drove ahead to Dahab which was located in the Red Sea shore.
