God's Grace and Mercy - Day 6!

We call it today's Roller Coaster Day.

It's all started with calming morning, when papa accompanied koko Richie for online school, a day before PSLE while mama was doing my household chores and accompanying Ted.

Suddenly at 11am, we received a call that the swabber will come at 1pm to do PCR test for our eldest as it's required to have PCR result 24 hours before PSLE. We were shocked as we only can hope that PCR result will be out by tonight so that our son can attend the exam.

We pretended to be cool in front of our kids eventhough we were panic inside as we didn't want to influence his mental being.

At 1.03pm the swabber came and did the swab test and she told us after that she will go straight to the lab carrying other specimens from other students who have the same fate with us.

We did our ART also at 6pm and thanks God, it's all negative.

Now, we are just waiting for PCR result.

Thanks God for today eventhough it's a roller coaster day but You never leave us alone.

Our friends are sending us a lot of food as a token of their care and love to us. We are really blessed and feeling so loved.

St Michael, St Raphael and St Gabriel pray for all of us !

God provides manna - Day 5!

It's another brand new day and we are grateful that Ted's condition is stabilised and thanks God that our ART is still negative.

He is able to attend online tuition for both Chinese and Math.

That's the most important matter today and another one that I am grateful is we have rectified our relationship with our kid's chinese tutor who's been impacted by our situation. I felt so bad to her, thanks God everything is good now.

We also received pouring message, snack/food/fruits from our friends. We are deeply grateful and it boosts our kids spirit.

We will not forget  all the kindness we receive.

While papa stays day and night with Richie, mama stays day and night with Ted.

We all fight together and these shall pass !

PCR Negative ! - Day 4

Finally there's a light shining through the darkness. We received our PCR test results and all are negative.

We did daily ART also and it came back negative, phew.....

And another good news, Ted's fever subsides. He sleeps around 11 hours last night and perhaps it's his first time sleeping very well since last Friday.

Thanks God, for the first time in 3 days, I saw his thermometer is green which is normal temperature.

His body is really fighting the virus so hard and he makes it. His oxygen level is also good, his appetite is also very good.

We are really grateful for this miracle.

And we also very blessed and loved by messages pouring to cheer us up, pray for us and sending us some snack. We really feel that we are not alone embracing the storm.

As for koko Richie, he's counting down to the final exam, papa accompanying him for online class. They studied together while the koko Tromson is having HBL.

While I am busy with Ted fighting the virus by exercise.

We can do this together !!

Life under quarantine - Day 3

This is the day 3 from the day Ted was tested ART positive. We received QO SMS from MOH at 1.08am and received a call around 6.45am  in the morning with regards to the QO.

In the afternoon, the swabber came and swabbed all of us excluding our youngest son.

So far, we are coping well, and waiting patiently for MOH updates as no doctor attending him.

He had high fever this morning and after I gave him ibuprofen, his fever subsided until now.

We are grateful for all of family and friends who have supported us throughout this period. Helping us buying groceries, care pack and throwing the rubbish, sending us juice.

And in the evening, we receive a bunch of ART kits to use everyday until 4 days post of our QO.

PCR Positive ! Day 2

This morning we received a call from a doctor that his PCR is POSITIVE. We need to stay at home while waiting for MOH to call and make arrangement.

A while later, we received a call from MOH with regards to contact tracing. They asked to list all the tuitions he went on the past 3 days since Tuesday.

We told them the truth however it may be back fired to us. It implicated many including our chinese tuition. She told us that she's in the big trouble as her name was mentioned and received call from MOH to do QO.

Mama really felt so bad as she has been nice to us and even supporting the kids. She can't leave the room and even teaches her daughter for PSLE preparation.

I just only hope and pray may God bless her daughter during PSLE and count her sacrifice for us.

Meanwhile mama did ART test today and thanks God it's still negative.

And we are grateful for aunty Gita who sends us the supplement and baso goreng.
